A Very Interesting Premise!

This was an interesting premise, with a diary-type/letter to my children format.
Set in a dystopian future, what happens when our keeper is the only one with the answers?
Is there a god? Is there really such a thing as a greater good?

A Grand Dystopian Political Thriller!
This well crafted, dystopian, futuristic political thriller truly resonates in our current environment. The female lead adds an exciting twist to a genre that is usually not on my playlist.

Wow!! Layers, mystery, deception, suspense, the human condition, our makers … fantastic concept!
This book was intriguing from the start. Set in the near future but with a storyline concept reaching back to the genesis of the human, the book follows a strong female lead and her quest to understand her place in the world and how the layers, players, politics, and belief systems of some not-quite humans are triggering a global meltdown. Why do all sides need her? How can she possibly complete her mission? I love creative, intelligent dystopian novels and this one has all the goods, layers and layers of them. It leaves you wanting more. My only disappointment is that Book 2 isn’t available yet!!

I’ve read this book twice now and it’s better each time! Intriguing the entire ride, this book leaves you in anticipation for the next book in the series. Non-stop page turner the whole way!
My favorite part (without spoilers!!) is the mix of real life places with a future that seems absolutely plausible mixed with a sci-fi plot that will leave you guessing and make you feel like you’re living it.
